UPDATE: Section I Athletics
Based on the Governor's Executive Order, the Section 1 Executive Committee approved the continued postponement of spring sports until further notice. The Executive Committee will meet to reevaluate the status of spring sports on April 15th.Center for Interscholastic Athletics

Section One Executive Committee meeting recap
The Executive Committee of Section One, Inc., of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) met on Jan. 27 for its third meeting of the year to vote on key proposals important to the section’s 79 member schools. News 12's 'Sports Rush' features interview with Section One Executive Director
Todd Santabarbara, Director of Interscholastic Athletics and Executive Director of Section One, had the opportunity to sit down with News 12's Pete Ruf for the inaugural episode of "Sports Rush," which airs on Monday nights.
Mr. Santabarbara reflected on his first nine months in his new role, discussing his outreach efforts across the Section and his focus on collaboration, transparency and communication. "As we head into the 19-20 school year, our hope is really to be able to educate the public, to inform the public, to tell our story," he said. That includes launching a new Section One Twitter presence and refreshing the Interscholastic Athletics website as a resource for information.
